SMARTMAT CMC

The Smartmat CMC, which is an affordable matcutter designed to suit the workload and budget of a custom framer. The SmartMat CMC is designed as "The Next Step" up from a manual mat cutter.

The SmartMat CMC is designed to offer the basic matcutting requirements for a frameshop, including standard shapes such as rectangles & ovals/circles. It offers systems for multiple opening mats, v-grooves and single/double layered mats.

Affordable - Less than $20,000 - designed to suit the budget of a small custom framer.

Computerised control - The SmartMat CMC is controlled by an optional Windows PC, which provides wide flexibility for designing mats and saving the designs.

European Engineering - Designed & manufactured in the Netherlands, the SmartMat CMC features European parts & components, including German micro-stepper motors.

Fast - With a cutting speed of 400mm/second, you can cut a 16" x 20" matboard & outside cut in less than 15 seconds.

Straightforward Software - provides flexibility for designing mats and saving the designs as files. working on a Windows based PC.

Pneumatic Clamping - Pneumatic clamps firmly secure the matboard when cutting, for confident accuracy.

Custom table size - The SmartMat CMC comes in a standard 1.0mtr x 1.5mtr (40" x 60") table size, however customised table sizes can be "made to order", up to 1.5mtr x 3.0mtr.

Easy to use software – The SmartMat CMC Software offers a choice of 4 standard templates (rectangle, oval, cathedral and roman arch) as well a v-groove option. No fancy clip arts or fonts are offered.
